Three Crocs at the Zoo

Jonas had a blast with his cousins Jack and Todd at the Calgary Zoo today. Matt and I freezer stenciled croc shirts for them but the crocodiles didn't turn out to be too lively at the zoo. Instead the lions, elephants, and flamingos were their favorites.  Jonas was so exhausted after running around the playground that he slept in the car...SLEPT in the car! That has only happened a handful of times in the past year.

Happy Tapering!

I've done my 10 mile practice run and now my training tapers over the next 19 days before my half-marathon. I felt like hyperventilating every time I thought about the race last week but now that I know I can go 10 miles I have a good excited nervous feeling whenever I anticipate driving up the canyon at 4:30 in the early morning light to start the race. After all adrenaline and a 2% downgrade will carry me those last 3 miles, right?
