I've done my 10 mile practice run and now my training tapers over the next 19 days before my half-marathon. I felt like hyperventilating every time I thought about the race last week but now that I know I can go 10 miles I have a good excited nervous feeling whenever I anticipate driving up the canyon at 4:30 in the early morning light to start the race. After all adrenaline and a 2% downgrade will carry me those last 3 miles, right?
